Outreach Tutor
The Job
Lincolnshire Educational Support are currently seeking full time and Part time Outreach Tutors to help support a number of vulnerable young children aged 7-18 years with SEMH and complex needs.
We are looking for an experienced, outstanding and motivated individual to contribute to the development of teaching and learning within our centres and the pupil’s home. Pupils will be expected to cover a range of topics at varying levels ranging from Entry Level Certificates, through to Functional Skills and GCSE.
A flexible approach with a can-do ethos is essential, as is drive, enthusiasm and a good sense of humour! If you are adaptable, innovative and child focused then we want to hear from you.
What we need from you:
* Qualified Teacher status
* Proven experience of working with specialist education for young people with SEMH
* Solid experience of working with young people that challenge
* Some knowledge and experience of vocational educational pathways
* Committed, conscientious and passionate about inclusion.
* Ability to plan, evaluate and monitor learning and progress.
* Ability to differentiate all aspects of learning to promote inclusion and attainment.
* Ability to build good relationships with young people and all others supporting the pupil.
* Plan the delivery of programs, lessons, and activities (i.e. Curriculum Delivery, Educational Programs and CPD).
* Motivating and inspiring children aged from 11 to 18 years of age, using the engine of sport.
* Engaging and liaising with parents and teachers regarding the progress of their child’s development; physically, mentally, and socially.
* Ensure everybody engages with in their provision.
* Make sure that yourself and the surrounding team are compliant with all policies and procedures.
* Highly organised and have the ability to prioritise and use their time effectively.
* Resilience, stamina, flexibility and excellent inter-personal skills
* A positive attitude to hard work and challenging situations
* A full, UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle
* A good sense of humour!

Alternative Educational Support Services Ltd are Alternative Provision suppliers currently working with schools, Special Schools and LEA’s providing learner led educational, delivering a variety of different subjects. The provisions are between 1 and 3 days a week working with pupils 7 to 18 years of age who have a variety of special educational needs.
You will work with pupils in a learner led environment encouraging them to develop core skills in English and Maths. Supporting the provision lead helping with course delivery and assisting with lesson plans.
