Job Description:
Our client a leading company based in Liverpool is urgently looking for a Logistics Assistant. Will be working on site and working within a leading team. Will be setting up new equipment and dealing with stock.
Key Responsibilities:
*Setting up new equipment for deployment.
*Correct handing and correct storage of equipment. This will include some manual handling including lifting and moving equipment and stock.
*Accurate recording of equipment information and movement tracking.
*Servicing returned equipment including minor repairs and fault finding.
*Handling of incoming surface mail.
*Maintaining the security, integrity and confidentiality of data and information to which they are provided access during the course of their work.
*Supporting staff with administration tasks.
*General office duties as directed by senior staff.
*Maintain an awareness and actively comply with the current Information Governance (IG) and Information Security (IS) standards
*Achieve the required standard when examined, following mandatory in house or role specific online training.
Key Competencies:
*Good IT skills including:
*general use of Windows based PCs, the Internet and email;
*the use of Microsoft Office products, in particular Excel.
*Familiarity with Android based product.
*Good organisational skills.
*Good verbal and written communications skills.
*Well organised and presentable to customers.
*Able to talk with customers on the phone and face-to-face.
