Job Description:
Our client whose Head Office is in Weston-super-Mare have an opportunity for a Account Manager to join them on a permanent basis.
This full time office based role requires somebody that can build and maintain working relationships by proactively developing a host of new accounts and business opportunities. The ideal candidate will be comfortable making a high volume of outbound calls to develop the portfolio of accounts. The company offer an attractive uncapped commission structure.
With the fast-paced nature of this role the ideal candidate will have excellent commercial thinking in order to effectively capitalise on profitable opportunities. The successful candidate will have the ability to work on their own intuition, and as part of a team, in order to contribute to the overall goals of the business. Success will be rewarded through the company’s individual uncapped commission scheme as well as through collective team targets and incentives.
Whilst previous experience in a Business Development/Sales position would be beneficial to the applicant, it is not essential as full training will be provided.
This role will appeal to anyone with a genuine desire to further develop business skills and industry knowledge, in a fast moving and commercially interesting environment.
Personal skill set requirements:
· A polite and engaging manner along with the ability to communicate effectively in order to build and maintain positive relationships
· Eagerness to win business and maximise opportunities through commercial thinking
· Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
· Desire for personal development
· IT Literate
Days of work are Monday to Friday. Salary will be based on applicant experience and desire for development.
