About the Business
An opportunity to be an Accounts Assistant for a interesting technology business based in Birmingham City Centre who are currently doing really well and offer lots potential for you to grow with them! Main Duties:
As an Accounts Assistant your main duties include:
*Bank Reconciliations: Reconcile bank accounts monthly and investigate any discrepancies.
*Invoice Processing: Process incoming and outgoing invoices, ensuring accuracy and timely payment.
*Purchase Order Processing: Create and manage purchase orders, coordinating with suppliers and departments.
*Accounts Receivable: Follow up on outstanding invoices, prepare and send statements, and manage customer accounts.
*Accounts Payable: Process vendor payments, reconcile accounts, and maintain accurate records.
*Data Entry: Accurately enter financial data into accounting software.
*Assist with Payroll: Prepare and process payroll data as needed.
*General Ledger Maintenance: Assist in maintaining the general ledger, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
*Assist in Management Accounts Ad-hoc Tasks: Get involved with management accounting tasks such as accruals and pre-payments.
Location / Office / Culture
This position is a hybrid role, requiring two days of in-office work per week in Birmingham City Centre. They operate in a modern office environment and have a strong and friendly team in place. The company has flexible work arrangements and offers excellent opportunities for career advancement due to the ongoing growth.

The ideal candidate will have:
*A finance degree / or studying/qualified AAT
*Exposure in transactional finance
*A driven mindset
