About the Role
Butler Rose is delighted to be working on behalf of our client, a leading manufacturer based in Plymouth , who have a current requirement for a Production Controller.
As a Production Controller, you will play a pivotal role in managing and overseeing production processes, ensuring that work flow is optimised and production targets are consistently met. This role requires an organised and detail-oriented individual who can monitor production progress, troubleshoot issues, and make necessary adjustments to maintain smooth operations.
Key Responsibilities
*Coordinate and control the flow of work through the factory, ensuring that production schedules are met.
*Monitor production progress, identify bottlenecks, and implement solutions to optimise work flow.
*Collaborate with various departments to ensure seamless production operations.
*Utilise production planning software to manage schedules and production data effectively.
*Address production challenges and make proactive adjustments as needed.
Candidate Requirements
*Proven experience as a Production Controller or similar role within a manufacturing environment.
*Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
*A dynamic self-starter with a proactive approach and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
*Proficiency in using production planning software and related tools.
*An inquisitive mindset with a passion for continuous learning and problem-solving.
