Job Description:
Interesting and varied Dual-Location Opportunity for a Level 2 NDT Technician
Locations: Harlow and Southend (The role works across 2 aerospace component MRO sites, so you will be working on aviation parts.)
Your Mission: Perform Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) with precision and excellence, ensuring the highest standards of safety and quality in every inspection.
Key Responsibilities:
*Lead Operations: Conduct daily NDT operations, upholding stringent safety and quality standards.
*Equipment Management: Set up and verify NDT equipment to ensure optimal functionality.
*Inspection Excellence: Perform NDT inspections on new and in-service components, ensuring compliance with all regulations.
*Regulatory Compliance: Adhere strictly to all regulatory, customer, and company policies.
*Safety Prioritisation: Ensure the safety of products and personnel in every task.
*Result Analysis: Interpret inspection results to meet customer specifications and codes.
*Innovation: Develop and document new inspection techniques tailored to customer needs.
*Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records of all inspections and related activities.
*Mentorship: Train and guide Level 1 trainees, fostering a culture of professionalism.
*Flexibility: Undertake additional duties as assigned by management.
Qualifications:
*Certification: Level 2 MPI / LPT - EN4179 certification.
*Regulatory Knowledge: Basic understanding of EASA, CAA, and FAA requirements is advantageous.
