The Company
With a long and prestigious history and a UK wide client base, this growing Surveying Consultancy have sites across the UK and Ireland. They specialise in the supply of technical services to the construction and infrastructure sector where they utilise state of the art technology to deliver data and information to clients who are then able to make more informed decisions on their projects.
The Role
As a key member of the Commercial team the Sales Manager will be responsible for the growth of new business opportunities with the large-scale construction and infrastructure space while at the same time nurturing and developing key accounts that already exist to maximise overall business potential. The role will be hybrid based and so travel to client sites / networking / industry events within the North West from home / office bases will be the norm.
The Person
You will have a proven background in either Business Development / Sales / Key Account Management or you will be an experienced surveyor with commercial acumen looking to take that formal step into a fully fledged sales role where you can utilise your existing skills and knowledge base. Drive and motivation to develop relationships as well as an ability to spot opportunities within the industry will be a must. Previous working knowledge of the construction / infrastructure / utilities / HS2 project arenas would be a big advantage in this role.
