Part-Time Teaching Assistant
Location: Oldham
Working Hours: 3 Days a Week (Specific days to be agreed)
Job Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to join our team at a school in Failsworth. This part-time role is perfect for someone who is passionate about supporting children’s learning and development. You will assist teachers in delivering lessons, provide one-on-one or group support to students, and help create a positive, inclusive learning environment.
Key Responsibilities:
*Supporting teachers in planning and delivering lessons
*Assisting students with their academic, social, and emotional development
*Working with individuals or small groups to ensure they understand and complete their work
*Helping maintain a safe and positive classroom atmosphere
*Providing support to students with special educational needs (SEN) if required
*Encouraging student engagement and participation
*Carrying out general administrative tasks to assist the teacher
Requirements:
*Previous experience as a Teaching Assistant or in a similar role is preferred
*Patience, empathy, and excellent communication skills
*Ability to work effectively as part of a team
*A passion for education and supporting student progress
*Relevant qualifications (e.g., Level 2 or 3 Teaching Assistant qualification) are a plus
