Job Description:
Teaching Assistant SEND
Are you a graduate with a passion for supporting a SEND child (Autism/EBD) on a 1:1 basis?
Are you passionate about making a difference in a child’s life?
We are seeking a caring and dedicated Teaching Assistant to provide 1:1 support to a young boy with Autism and Emotional and Behavioural Difficulties (EBD) in a ’Good’ primary school located in the Ward of Yardley.
*** Teaching Assistant SEND
*** £350 - £400 per day
*** ’Good’ primary school, Ward of Yardley
*** Immediate start until July 2024
*** 1:1 support to a young boy with Autism and EBD
In this role, you will be responsible for delivering personalised academic, social, and emotional support to help a young boy succeed in the classroom. You’ll work closely with the child, building a trusting relationship and adapting your approach to meet his individual needs.
As a Teaching Assistant SEND, you will collaborate with teachers and the SENCO to create a nurturing environment, where the child can thrive despite his challenges. Your patience, understanding, and flexibility will be key in guiding him through his educational journey.
This role is ideal for someone who is passionate about supporting children with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND). Previous experience working with children who have Autism or EBD would be an advantage, but most importantly, you should be enthusiastic about helping the child grow academically and emotionally.
If you are ready to make a real impact and provide essential support, we would love to hear from you.
