Job Description:
Are you an experienced Business Development Manager with a passion for innovative packaging solutions? I am seeking a dynamic professional to drive new business opportunities in the plastic and protective paper sectors of the business and expand market presence within the packaging sector.
Business Development Manager – Packaging Solutions
Salary: £50,000 - £65,000
Benefits: Health care, life insurance (4x salary), 4% pension, hybrid car, 25 days holiday plus bank holidays, expenses covered, plus opportunities to grow within the business.
Location: Manchester (Hybrid)
The Role:
*Identify and develop new business opportunities with distributors/end users
*Utilise market data to build a pipeline.
*Build and maintain relationships with key clients and stakeholders.
*Analyse market position, profitability and competitive impact
*Provide tailored packaging solutions to meet customer requirements.
*Collaborate with internal teams to ensure successful project delivery.
*Achieve sales targets and contribute to company growth.
About You:
*Proven experience in business development or sales within the packaging or related sectors.
*Strong communication and negotiation skills.
*Ability to identify customer needs and provide tailored solutions.
*Be able to manage and nurture a small customer portfolio.
*Self-motivated, target-driven, and able to work independently.
