English Academic Coach – Central Birmingham
An Outstanding secondary school in central Birmingham is looking for an English Academic Coach. In this role, you will work closely with students in Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4, providing both one-to-one and small group sessions to help them improve their English skills.

*** £80 - £90 per day
*** Immediate start until July 2025
*** ’Outstanding’ secondary school, Central Birmingham
*** Provide support to students through the English curriculum (KS3 & KS4)
This is a full-time role with a salary of £80-£90 per day. The position starts immediately and will continue until the end of the academic year. You’ll support students who need extra help in English, ensuring they develop the skills necessary to succeed in their studies.
Your responsibilities will include delivering tailored learning support, focusing on specific areas like reading comprehension, writing, and exam preparation. By working alongside the teaching staff, you’ll help to create personalised learning plans that meet the needs of each student you work with.
To be considered, you’ll need a strong interest in English education and a desire to help students reach their potential. Experience working with young people is beneficial, but it’s not a requirement. What’s most important is your ability to communicate effectively and your passion for education.
