Job Description:
German & French Teacher
We are seeking an enthusiastic and skilled Teacher of German KS3-KS4 & French KS3 to join a thriving school in Birmingham. The school is an 11-18 boys grammar school with an Outstanding Ofsted rating. They have a stable and supportive Modern Foreign Languages department, which consists of a good mix of experience who are dedicated to providing excellent languages curriculum to their students.
Key Responsibilities:
*Plan and deliver creative and engaging German and French lessons at KS3 & KS4 level.
*Inspire students to develop a love for languages and achieve their full potential in the subject.
*Work cross-curriculum to promote languages and cultural understanding throughout the school.
*Collaborate with colleagues within the department and across other subjects to integrate language learning into the wider curriculum.
*Participate in ongoing training and development opportunities to enhance teaching skills and stay current with educational trends.
*Uphold the school’s values and contribute positively to the school community.
Requirements:
*A recognised teaching qualification with a specialisation in French or Spanish.
*Proficiency in both German & French, with the ability to teach both languages at KS3 & KS4.
*Passion for languages and a commitment to inspiring students to achieve their best.
*Ability to design creative and engaging lessons that motivate and challenge students.
*Strong teamwork and communication skills.
