We are currently seeking an Interim Finance Manager to join our team on behalf of Reed Accountancy & Finance, the UK’s leading specialist recruitment partner. This position is based in Hawkhurst and offers a skilled professional the opportunity to oversee and manage our client’s financial operations.
Finance Manager Day-to-day of the role: *Oversee daily financial operations, including accounting, reporting, budgeting, and forecasting.
*Develop and implement financial controls and processes to improve efficiency and reduce costs.
*Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports for management and external stakeholders.
*Manage cash flow and forecasting, including working capital and funding requirements.
*Liaise with other departments to ensure financial strategies are aligned with overall business objectives.
*Lead and mentor a team of finance professionals, fostering a collaborative and efficient work environment.
*Ensure compliance with statutory law and financial regulations.
Finance Manager Required Skills & Qualifications: *Proven experience as a Finance Manager, ideally within a similar industry.
*Strong leadership skills and experience managing finance teams.
*Excellent analytical, decision-making, and problem-solving skills.
*Proficient in financial software and advanced Excel skills.
*Strong understanding of financial statistics and accounting principles.
*Working knowledge of all statutory legislation and regulations.
*Professional qualification such as CIMA, ACCA, or similar is highly desirable.
