Job Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Machine Operator to join our production team. The Machine Operator will be responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining glass manufacturing machines to ensure efficient production of pharmaceutical vials and cartridges. This role is crucial in maintaining the high standards of quality Medical Glass that they are known for.
Key Responsibilities:
*Operate and monitor machines involved in the production of pharmaceutical glass vials and cartridges.
*Perform regular checks to ensure machines are functioning correctly and within safety standards.
*Adjust machine settings for various production runs, ensuring accuracy and consistency in output.
*Conduct routine maintenance and troubleshooting of machines to minimize downtime.
*Inspect finished products for quality, ensuring they meet company specifications and standards.
*Report any issues with equipment or production to supervisors in a timely manner.
*Follow all safety protocols and maintain a clean, organized workspace.
*Keep accurate records of production, machine maintenance, and quality inspections.
Qualifications and Skills:
*Previous experience of 2 years in operating machinery in a manufacturing environment, ideally in glass production or a related field.
*Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
*Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and machine manuals.
*Attention to detail with a focus on product quality.
*Good communication skills and ability to work well within a team.
*Basic computer skills for recording production data and machine reports.
*Knowledge of safety regulations and procedures in a manufacturing setting.
