Job Description:
Accounts Receivable Accountant - Wokingham - £200 - £250 per day - Hybrid - 4 month contract
Key Responsibilities:
*Process and manage incoming invoices, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies.
*Maintain the accounts receivable ledger, recording all transactions and payments.
*Monitor and follow up on overdue accounts, establishing communication with clients to facilitate timely payment.
*Prepare weekly and monthly reports on accounts receivable status, including aging reports and cash flow projections.
*Collaborate with the sales team to resolve billing discrepancies and customer inquiries.
*Reconcile accounts receivable balances with customer statements and resolve discrepancies.
*Assist in month-end closing processes, ensuring all receivables are recorded accurately.
*Implement and maintain effective credit control policies and procedures.
*Support audits by providing necessary documentation and explanations of accounts receivable activities.
Qualifications:
*Years of experience in accounts receivable or a similar finance role.
*Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
*Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
*Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
