Product Coordinator
Location: Outskirts of Newmarket (Office-based until probation with flexibility thereafter)
Salary: £26-30k
Hours: Monday to Friday 9-5pm
Company Overview: Our client is an exciting scientific company located on the outskirts of Newmarket, dedicated to advancing innovative solutions in the field of science. As a key member of the Product Management Team, you will play a pivotal role in driving the strategic goals through effective product design and differentiation.
Role Summary: The Product Design Specialist will collaborate closely with the Product Management Team to align design strategies with the corporate and brand objectives. This role is instrumental in ensuring the quality, consistency, and differentiation of the product designs across the range of products our client has to offer. The successful candidate will bring creativity, strategic thinking, and a user-centric approach to enhance the user experience and add value to the products and business.
Key Responsibilities:
*Coordinate Post-Market Surveillance Projects according to company procedures, ensuring compliance with regulations and standards.
*Monitor product safety and performance throughout the product life cycle.
*Collect, analyse, and document Post-Market Surveillance data, contributing to comprehensive reports and actionable insights.
*Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for design improvements based on Post-Market Surveillance findings.
*Conduct market research, assess competitor products, and engage with distributors, importers, and users to gather valuable customer feedback.
*Align design strategies with corporate and brand objectives to maintain a consistent visual identity and product experience.
*Drive innovation in product design, proposing new solutions to address user needs and differentiate the products in the market.
*Collaborate with internal teams to implement changes to product packaging, design, and production processes that add value to both products and the company’s business.
Requirements:
*Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to connect effectively with individuals at all levels and convey ideas clearly.
*Strong organisational skills, enabling effective management of multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining accurate and orderly records.
*Humility and empathy, including the ability to actively listen, admit mistakes, and collaborate openly with colleagues and stakeholders.
Qualifications:
*Minimum education level of A-levels or equivalent.
*No specific qualifications required; relevant experience and skills will be prioritized.
