Job Description:
Jisc is looking for a Professional Security Services Coordinator to join our team on a full-time, 12 month fixed term contract. This role is Hybrid with a blend of working from home and your nominated hub office, we have hubs in London, Bristol, Manchester and Oxford. Specific patterns for working in the office are not mandated, and the frequency of time worked in the office is agreed with your manager. Meeting in person is something we value so you may need to travel on occasion to any of our hub offices. In return, you will receive a competitive salary from £28,000 per annum negotiable dependent on experience.

About the Professional Security Services Coordinator role:
The role is part of the Professional Services team which is the team responsible for the provision of a range of cyber security services including Penetration Testing, Cyber Security Assessment Cyber Essentials and other security services. Your role of the co-ordinator is to assist in the co-ordination of these services. You will also support development of services to ensure they continue to meet emerging requirements of the user community and supports security services managers in formulating future strategy for the services.
If you are passionate about cyber security, then this could be the role for you, as training and development in key areas will be provided to support your ongoing learning.
Responsibilities will include:
*Communication: Acting as a first point of contact for Clients, Internal and External via email /Teams and Telephone.
*Scheduling: Coordinating and prioritising engagements.
*Collaboration: Working with teams and other members to allocate engagements to the testing team and Security specialists
*Attention to Detail: Ensuring all aspects of the project are completed to a high standard.
*Record Keeping: Maintaining digital records, processing and reporting with accuracy.
*Documentation: Creation and maintaining spreadsheets, and reports.
*Service Management: Ensuring Customer expectations and satisfaction are met.
*Deadline Management: Monitoring deadlines and progress to ensure delivery in a timely fashion and within budget.
*Engagement Oversight: Taking ownership and responsibility for overseeing the delivery of an engagement and making necessary adjustments to meet specifications and high standards.
Key Skills and Experience:
*Experience: Proven work experience as an Administrative Coordinator, Administrator, or similar role.
*Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
*Excellent MS office Skills
*The ability to work under pressure
*Organizational Skills: Ability to manage multiple tasks and engagements simultaneously.
*Ability to manage and adapt to change in an ever-evolving department.
*Problem-Solving: Able to address and resolve issues independently and efficiently.
*Attention to detail - Ensuring all aspects of the engagements are delivered to a high standard.
