Data Management Lead required for my client based near Swindon.

This position is crucial in driving data quality and governance initiatives, ensuring data accuracy and alignment with business needs for informed decision-making. The role involves designing and implementing robust data governance frameworks and quality controls, ensuring adherence to standards and regulatory requirements (such as GDPR), and managing the flow and lifecycle of data across the company’s systems.
Key Responsibilities:
*Data Governance Leadership: Develop, implement, and continuously improve data governance and quality frameworks. You’ll monitor data integrity, address quality issues, and lead data stewardship programs to ensure accurate and reliable data across the organization.
*Architecture and Management: Collaborate with Data Architects and Engineers to establish data architecture strategies that support scalable and secure data pipelines. You will also oversee the structuring and modeling of data to ensure it meets business objectives and enhances decision-making capabilities.
*Data Modelling and Design: Provide expert consultation on data models, working with internal teams to develop models that support business intelligence (BI) and analytics. You will align these models with the company’s architecture principles, ensuring they are optimized for both current and future business needs.
*Stakeholder Engagement: Work closely with technical and business stakeholders to ensure data governance frameworks align with operational goals. Regularly communicate data quality KPIs to senior leadership and provide insights that contribute to business strategies.
*Process Improvement: Identify areas for improvement in data management processes, focusing on automation and standardization. You will also ensure all data solutions comply with internal policies and industry regulations concerning data management, protection, and privacy.
