We are seeking a skilled networking generalist with expertise in Juniper appliances and software, as well as a broad knowledge of routing, switching, LAN, and WAN technologies across various vendors’ solutions. As an Integration Engineer, you will play a crucial role in creating and supporting network solutions that manage and optimise network traffic, contributing to our goal of making the world more sustainable by reducing energy consumption required for data transmission.
Day-to-day of the role: *Design, configure, deploy, and administer network solutions using Juniper appliances and a variety of other vendor technologies.
*Create networking deliverables from design artefacts using industry-standard tooling and methodologies.
*Work closely with Network Architects and Project Managers to ensure that network deliverables are defect-free, align with approved designs, and meet customer requirements.
*Produce professional documentation to accompany all network components.
*Provide ongoing support for network appliances and solutions across different environments.
Required Skills & Qualifications: *Proven experience in network engineering, including the design, configuration, deployment, and support of network appliances from various vendors in secure environments.
*Advanced knowledge of Juniper Switching (EX and QFX series switches) and Juniper Security (SRX and vSRX series) products in a commercial setting.
*Experience in producing high-quality solutions and documentation using a structured approach for components of varying complexity.
*Ability to support and maintain work packages throughout the Customer Solution Lifecycle.
*Experience in remote administration, configuration, and management of network systems.
*Skilled in requirements management and familiar with associated tooling.
