Colmore Education is seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Qualified English Teacher for a full-time position at a vibrant secondary school in Coventry. This is an excellent opportunity for an individual who is passionate about teaching English and making a real impact on students’ learning, from Key Stage 3 to Key Stage 4.
Key Responsibilities:
*Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging English lessons in line with the national curriculum.
*Support and inspire students to achieve their full potential, preparing them for GCSE success.
*Monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback and differentiated support where necessary.
*Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the English department’s offerings and maintain high standards of teaching.
Requirements:
*Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
*Proven experience teaching English to KS3 and KS4 students.
*Strong classroom management skills and the ability to create a positive learning environment.
*A passion for English literature and language, and the ability to engage students of varying abilities.
