Laboratory Technician
Warrington
Temporary Position – 2 months
Monday – Friday (8am-4pm)
Reed Scientific are working with a materials company based in Warrington who have an immediate need for some temporary support within their testing laboratory. This is a temporary which will run until Christmas 2024.
Duties of the role include:
*Performing laboratory testing on various materials in accordance with SOPs and regulatory requirements
*Ensuring consumables are ordered and available within the laboratory
*Performing calibration and verification checks on equipment where necessary
*Reporting of results to supervisors
Skills/experience required:
*Chemistry related degree
*Previous industrial laboratory experience would be desirable
*Previous materials science experience would be desirable either within degree modules or working in industry
*Excellent attention to detail and communication skills
