Job Description:
A long-established independent insurance brokerage in the Manchester market is currently seeking an experienced Senior Account Handler to join one of its specialist teams within the business and NJR Recruitment are delighted to be supporting them in the recruitment for the role.
Joining the business as a Senior Account Handler, you will be responsible for maintaining a client’s insurance portfolio, ensuring a high-quality and efficient service is provided.
A long-standing background and proven experience within commercial insurance broking is essential, with sound technical knowledge in Property related risks.
Key Responsibilities:
*Working closely with clients to ensure their needs are understood and that they are receiving the best cover for their requirements.
*Responsible for managing the renewal and placing process, as well as dealing with any mid-term adjustments.
*Collating all information and documentation for pre renewal and renewal meetings.
*Ensuring all information is recorded accurately on Acturis.
Requirements:
*Extensive commercial insurance experience in a broking capacity, with a proven track record in property insurance.
*Strong negotiation and communication skills, with ability to secure the best deals for clients and the business.
*Personable approach and ability to develop and maintain good working relationships with clients and insurers.
*Be qualified to Cert CII level or be prepared to complete the qualification.
*Proficiency in Acturis would also be fantastic.
