Job Title: Senior Quantity Surveyor (Housebuilding Experience)
Location: Wetherby, UK
Salary: Circa £65,000 + Company Car/Car Allowance + Pension + Healthcare + 1 Day a Week Work from Home
My client is a well-established housebuilding company based in Wetherby, and they are currently seeking an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor to join the team. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated professional with a proven track record in the residential construction sector.
Key Responsibilities:
*Managing all costs relating to residential building projects from initial estimates to final accounts.
*Overseeing the financial and contractual management of multiple projects.
*Liaising with project managers, contractors, and suppliers to ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget.
*Preparing tender and contract documents, including bills of quantities.
*Conducting regular site visits to monitor progress and manage variations.
*Working closely with the commercial and project teams to maximise project profitability.
Requirements:
*Proven experience in a Senior Quantity Surveyor role, particularly in the housebuilding sector.
*Strong knowledge of construction costs, contracts, and procurement processes.
*Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
*Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
*Relevant degree or qualification in Quantity Surveying or a related field.
*Available to start as soon as possible.
