We have a fantastic opportunity for a Solicitor to join our team within Vistry Services, at one of the London or other regional offices. As our Solicitor, you will support the Head of Legal with provision of construction legal services to the London Divisions and other Divisions across Vistry. Those legal services extend to contentious and non-contentious legal work which includes tender reviews, drafting, negotiating of a variety of constructions contracts including ancillary documents, and advising on any issues/ disputes.
Working closely with the regions within the London and other Divisions within Vistry, the role includes engaging with both the internal legal team, Vistry’s panel of external legal advisors and reporting to management on pertinent matters.

*More about the Solicitor role... *Review of tenders (which may include JCT DB SoA/ bespoke construction contracts, with the forms of collateral warranties/ third party rights, performance bonds, and parent company guarantees), internal commentary on legal risks and proposed amendments etc, preparation of client commentary and/or mark-up. Assist with any negotiation with clients.
*Flow down of supply chain documents from a Development agreement or JCT DB/ bespoke construction contract.
*Review of consultant appointments or sub/trade contractor comments on supply chain documents, and assistance with response or negotiation.
*Bespoke in-house legal training to stakeholders.
*Precedent reviews/ updates.
*Review of confidentiality agreements.
*Assisting with any ad hoc project queries / issues and/or disputes.
*Provide generic legal advice/signposting to key stakeholders.
*Play a crucial role working collaboratively with panel firms and key stakeholders to drive structure, process and best practice.
*Demonstrate the ability to advise and influence key stakeholders.
