Pyramid8 are recruiting for a temp to perm Warehouse Dispatch person based in Castleford
Responsibilities
*Pack and dispatch finished goods and roll stock materials, ranging from small parcels to multi-pallet shipments.
*To conduct regular quality checks on incoming goods, and to ensure that all finished goods are inspected before dispatch.
*Deal with customers at the trade counter for collections and counter sales.
*Operate a FLT to load and unload materials to and from vehicles or storage racking.
*To prepare and submit relevant administration in a timely and accurate manner.
Knowledge, skills and experience required
*Numerate & Literate
*Computer Experience preferred
*Manual handling experience
*H&S aware
*Forklift truck licence
*Experience with conveyor belts or equipment is preferential.
*Able to read drawings
*Use measuring devices, tape measure, protractor, set square etc.
*Quality checking
*Experience of organising third party transport i.e. couriers, freight etc.
*Have an appreciation of our legal obligations regarding waste management
