SEN Teachers with Early Years Experience
Location: Lambeth, London
Position: SEN Teachers (Full-Time)
Salary: Inner London Mainscale / Upper Threshold (depending on experience) + 1 SEN Point
Are you an experienced teacher with a passion for early years education? Do you have experience teaching children with special educational needs, or are you eager to transition from a mainstream setting into SEN? If so, we want to hear from you!
We are seeking SEN Teachers with experience in Early Years to join our dedicated team at a leading SEN school in Lambeth. We welcome applications from both SEN specialists and mainstream teachers who have a passion for inclusive education and want to make a positive difference in the lives of children with additional needs.
Key Responsibilities:
*Plan and deliver creative, engaging, and differentiated lessons for children with SEN, including Autism, communication difficulties, and developmental delays.
*Use your expertise in early childhood development to foster a supportive, nurturing, and inclusive learning environment.
*Work closely with teaching assistants, therapists, and families to support each child’s individual learning journey.
*Track and assess pupils’ progress, adapting strategies to meet the diverse needs of learners.
*Support personal, social, and emotional development, helping children build confidence and independence.
Requirements:
*Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
*Experience working in Early Years (either in SEN or mainstream settings).
*A genuine passion for working with young children, including those with special educational needs.
*Strong classroom management skills and the ability to adapt to different learning styles.
*Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
