SEN Teaching Assistants - Long-Term Positions
Location: Lambeth, London
Position: SEN Teaching Assistants (Full-Time, Long-Term)
Salary: £95 - £110

We are looking for dedicated SEN Teaching Assistants to work at a well-established Secondary SEN school in Lambeth. These are long-term positions offering the chance to work closely with students who have a range of needs, including Autism, speech & language needs and learning difficulties.
Key Responsibilities:
*Support the learning and development of pupils with a variety of SEN needs in both 1:1 and group settings.
*Assist teachers in planning and delivering tailored learning experiences for students.
*Help manage classroom behaviour and ensure a positive and inclusive environment.
*Provide personal care and additional support for students with more complex needs.
*Collaborate with teachers, therapists, and parents to track and support each pupil’s progress.
Requirements:
*Previous experience working in a SEN setting, ideally with secondary-aged students.
*A caring, patient, and proactive attitude towards supporting children with additional needs.
*Strong communication and teamwork skills.
*The ability to manage challenging behaviour effectively.
*A commitment to creating a safe, supportive, and engaging learning environment.
