Systems & Applications Specialist - 12-month contract | Up to £50,000 | Annual bonus | Chichester
We are excited to welcome a skilled IT Systems & Applications Specialist to our fast-growing team in Chichester, West Sussex. In this dynamic role, reporting to the Systems & Process Manager, you will play a key part in providing expert application and software support, delivering insightful advice, and ensuring the smooth maintenance of business-critical applications across our four major manufacturing facilities. This is a contract position lasting for 12 months.

Key responsibilities
*Collaborating with stakeholders and functional leaders to identify, propose, and implement changes, enhancements, and optimised usage of application systems
*Leading the release of updates and improvements to existing applications, including configuration, testing, and deployment
*Providing expert configuration and ongoing maintenance of NWF’s business-facing systems
*Delivering comprehensive support to business users by troubleshooting and resolving application errors, data discrepancies, and queries while prioritising requests according to agreed-upon criteria and service desk SLAs
*Driving the development of enhancements and functionality improvements for intranet portals and workflow tools
*Managing relationships with major vendors and service providers, ensuring solutions are cost-effective and aligned with organisational needs
*Acting as the subject matter expert for Tier 1 business applications, ensuring system availability and maintenance
*Supporting the delivery and implementation of new business applications and performing related duties, including participation in the on-call rota
Requirements
*SharePoint on Premise & Cloud
*Nintex Forms & Workflow
*Good understanding of Microsoft core stack, including server & core directory
*HND or equivalent in Information Systems/Computer Science or related preferred
*Microsoft Certified Professional or equivalent preferred.
*Can demonstrate experience with SAAS products and demonstrate functional expertise
*Active Directory
*Microsoft Windows Server
*Microsoft SQL Server
*Drivers are preferred due to potential travel between sites
