Job Description:
Award winning children’s brand, with both a retail and online presence, have a vacancy for a Social Media Manager who will work closely with the Head of Marketing. This small, yet dynamic company with exciting growth plans, are looking for a motivated creative with social media experience, who will be responsible for; developing content, copywriting, creative, brand & other visual assets, creating engaging campaigns, influencer outreach, managing social calendar, monitoring trends and providing overall support to the Marketing Manager. You will fully manage the social media channels for 3 brands and proactively contribute to execute the wider marketing strategy that aims to build the brand.
A good understanding of how diverse social media channels operate, a genuine creative flair, excellent copyrighting skills and knowledge of how different tools can be used to influence the customer’s journey. Outstanding communication skills are paramount as you will engage with partners and affiliates while representing the brand.
Social Media & Marketing Key Responsibilities:
- Manage all social media channels for 3 of their brands
- Plan content and delivery and use tools like Hootsuite to manage multiple social media channels
- Suggest and search for social media content on platforms such as Instagram, Facebook and YouTube
- Create dynamic written content with our brands voice, style and tone
- Responding and engaging with social media posts and developing discussions
- Identify and build relationships with influencers that can potentially become brand ambassadors
- Liaise with relevant influencers and ensuring the relevant agreements are in place
- Monitoring and response to customer feedback from social media platforms and web
- Daily monitoring customer feedback and perception of the brands from forums
Social Media Executive Attributes:
- Experience and expertise in social media channels, gained professionally NOT just personally
- Have a creative flair and basic skills of how to manipulate images
- Have excellent copywriting skills
- Demonstrate an engaging personality, with a passion for social media
- Have a good understanding of the customer’s full marketing journey
- Experience of working with social media influencers
- Self-starter with an ambitious spirit and the drive to learn and develop.
You will be part of an exciting brand that provides award winning, innovative nursery / children’s products within the UK and Ireland. Their products have won numerous industry awards and are regularly featured in national press.
*Hybrid working available - 3 days in the office and 2 days from home*
Hours: 9.30am - 5.30pm
Location: Regents Park/Maida Vale
Salary: £32K - £38K plus significant bonus
