A leading UK organisation in the financial services sector is seeking a Senior Tax Accountant to join their team on a permanent, part-time basis. The role offers hybrid working, with a mix of home and office-based work, and flexibility in working hours (up to 25 hours per week).

What will the  Senior Tax Accountant role involve?
*Lead the submission of Corporation Tax computations, VAT returns, and Insurance Premium Tax (IPT) returns to HMRC, ensuring compliance with all relevant legislation.
*Ensure tax disclosures in year-end accounts are prepared in accordance with current laws and accounting standards.
*Act as the primary point of contact with HMRC, managing the day-to-day relationship through written and face-to-face communication.
*Oversee the implementation of robust controls and documentation for tax-related matters, ensuring Senior Accounting Officer compliance.
Suitable Candidate for the Senior Tax Accountant vacancy:
*Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build and maintain effective relationships across all levels, internally and externally, including with HMRC.
*A solid understanding of Corporation Tax (CT), VAT, and Insurance Premium Tax (IPT), with a good grasp of the commercial landscape.
*Analytical mindset, able to evaluate and interpret complex financial data, and identify inconsistencies where they arise.
