Job Description:
We are partnering with a reputable advisory consultancy specialising in financial planning services for corporate clients, with a strong emphasis on the Independent Schools sector. Renowned for delivering tailored solutions and exceptional client service, our client is seeking a dynamic Associate Financial Consultant to join their expert team.
As an Associate Financial Consultant, you will have the opportunity to work alongside industry experts in providing financial advice to corporate clients. Initially focusing on non-regulated areas, this role offers a clear pathway to expanding into regulated financial planning, including specialized pensions such as the Teachers’ Pension Scheme.
Although this role initially be focussed on the corporate side of the market, there is clear progress for the individual to progress into a Personal Financial Planning role in the future. The role would suit a Paraplanner with client facing experience seeking a route into advice or an up-and-coming Financial Adviser seeking to work for a highly reputable firm offering first class career development opportunities.
Key Responsibilities:
*Offer expert guidance on workplace pensions and benefits, ensuring clients’ needs are met with precision and professionalism.
*Proactively identify and respond to client needs, contributing to the achievement of business objectives.
*Stay abreast of legislative changes and industry developments, applying this knowledge to deliver comprehensive solutions.
*Foster and maintain strong client relationships, driving client retention and identifying opportunities for growth.
*Collaborate with regulated financial planners, supporting the team in achieving revenue targets and fostering a culture of excellence.
*Contribute to fee negotiations and ensure accurate invoicing, adhering to regulatory requirements and company protocols.
Essential Requirements:
*Must be DipPFS/Level 4 qualified and have Technical knowledge of DC pensions, financial planning or of working within an employee benefit consultancy
*Previous experience in a similar role, demonstrating a track record of success in working with private or corporate clients.
*Exceptional customer service and sales skills, with a proven ability to build and maintain client relationships.
*Strong communication and presentation abilities, enabling effective engagement with stakeholders at all levels.
*Solid organizational and problem-solving skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines under pressure.
*Commitment to ongoing professional development, with a clear plan to achieve advanced qualifications within a specified timeframe.
