Job Description:
Our professional client is looking for an Account Assistant to join their team in Guildford. This role involves processing client-related transactions promptly and ensuring the company complies with regulations regarding the handling of client funds.

Key Responsibilities:
*Provide support to billing staff with any questions about client accounts.
*Promptly record incoming client payments and receipts.
*Manage the printing, mailing, and depositing of cheques.
*Handle necessary time write-offs.
*Prepare payments using online banking tools for final approval.
*Reconcile client bank accounts for accuracy.
*Process transfers from client accounts.
*Enter and track sales invoices.
*Calculate interest on client balances.
*Manage time-related transfers.
Experience and Skills Requirements
*Must have 1-2 years’ experience of working in an accounts department
*Fast learner who adapts easily.
*Strong communication skills.
*Flexible attitude
*Exceptional attention to detail.
*Effective team player.
*Strong computer skills, particularly in Excel.
*Ability to prioritise tasks effectively.
*Demonstrates professionalism.
