Job Description:
Are you an experienced professional ready to make a significant impact in a key leadership role? We are looking for a Senior Technical Manager to join our clients team and oversee the development of a high rise residential project.
Key Responsibilities:
*Lead and manage a team of Technical Coordinators/Managers and external consultants to ensure successful project execution.
*Provide strategic input into planning design and guide the optimisation process through to approval.
*Supervise the design team to ensure timely delivery of high-quality production information.
*Collaborate closely with Land and Planning, as well as Sales and Marketing teams, to develop technical specifications.
*Prepare and present the Pre-Contract Programme to stakeholders.
*Oversee the timely submission and follow-up of statutory queries and applications (NHBC, LABC, Building Regulations).
*Conduct regular site inspections, focusing on Health & Safety compliance and reporting.
*Liaise with the Commercial team to maintain budget adherence and cost controls.
*Attend and lead various project meetings, ensuring effective coordination with internal and external parties.
*Proactively resolve technical and construction challenges as they arise.
Job Requirements:
*Proven experience in delivering medium to high-rise residential developments.
*In-depth knowledge of building regulations, environmental standards, and relevant legislation.
*Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written.
*A degree or equivalent qualification in Construction, Architecture, or Engineering.
