Job Description:
Alexander Lloyd are delighted to be partnering with a leading business in the global beauty industry on the hire of a Global Supply Chain Lead on an initial 6 month fixed term contract.
Applicants must be available immediately or at short notice.
Key Responsibilities include:
*Lead the Sales and Operations Planning (S&OP) process, working closely with Sales, Marketing, and Finance to build accurate monthly forecasts for regular and promotional sales.
*Provide strategic direction to the Supply Chain Manager in volume forecasting, ensuring accurate demand planning.
*Oversee the planning for product launches, innovations, and promotional activities to ensure alignment with inventory and cost targets.
*Manage inventory reporting and stock provisioning in sync with financial reporting.
*Cultivate strong relationships with contract manufacturers and packaging suppliers, working alongside R&D and Procurement teams to ensure efficient production.
*Monitor supply chain performance metrics, reporting on KPIs, and identifying areas for improvement.
*Manage and develop a global team of 4.
Qualifications & Requirements:
*At least 5 years of experience in supply chain management across key areas such as demand planning, inventory management, and logistics.
*Proven experience working with ERP systems (Netsuite would be a bonus).
*Strong leadership and team development skills.
*Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication abilities, with the capacity to collaborate effectively across functions.
*Experience working in a dynamic, fast-paced environment, with a focus on prioritization and adaptability.
*Knowledge of working with contract manufacturers and international businesses is an advantage.
*Familiarity with analytical tools (e.g., PowerBI)
