Job Description:
We are currently seeking an experienced Electrical Technician to join our client’s team in the electrical industry. This temporary position offers a competitive hourly rate of £13.21.
As an Electrical Technician, you will be responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing electrical systems and equipment. This role requires a strong technical background and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:
-Conduct regular maintenance checks on electrical systems to ensure optimal performance and safety.
-Troubleshoot and repair electrical faults, including wiring issues, circuit breakers, and transformers.
-Install and test electrical equipment, ensuring compliance with safety standards and regulations.
-Collaborate with other technicians and engineers to diagnose and resolve complex electrical problems.
-Keep accurate records of maintenance and repair work performed.
-Adhere to health and safety guidelines at all times.
Requirements:
-Previous experience as an Electrical Technician or a similar role in the electrical industry.
-Technical knowledge of electrical systems, equipment, and tools.
-Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
-Familiarity with electrical regulations and safety standards.
-Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.
-Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
-Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
