Job Description:
Our client, a leading electrical company, is currently seeking a skilled CNC Machinist to join their team on a temporary basis. With a strong reputation for delivering high-quality products and innovative solutions, our client is committed to providing a safe and inclusive work environment.
Location: Stamford
Responsibilities:
Set up and operate CNC machines to produce precision components according to specifications
Analyse blueprints, drawings, and sketches to determine machining operations and sequences
Monitor the machining process to ensure accuracy and quality of finished products
Conduct routine maintenance and troubleshooting of CNC machines
Collaborate with the production team to optimise productivity and efficiency
Adhere to all safety guidelines and procedures
Keep accurate records of machine settings, production counts, and inspections
Requirements:
Proven experience as a CNC Machinist or similar role in the electrical industry
Proficiency in operating and setting up CNC machines
Sound knowledge of machining principles and techniques
Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and blueprints
Strong attention to detail with a focus on producing high-quality work
Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot machining issues
Good communication skills and ability to work collaboratively within a team
Exceptional time management and organisational skills
Flexibility to work on a temporary contract basis
Contract and Pay:
This is a temporary position with the possibility of extension based on business needs
- Hourly rate: £15 to £16 per hour (depending on experience)
Full-time working hours
