Job Description:
Location: Hinckley
Duration: Temporary (3-6 months)
Salary: Competitive, based on experience
Role Overview: We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Temporary Sales Ledger Clerk to join a finance team in Hinckley. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the sales ledger, ensuring accurate and timely processing of invoices and payments, and supporting the overall financial operations of the organization.
Key Responsibilities: *Process sales invoices accurately and efficiently.
*Maintain the sales ledger, ensuring all transactions are recorded correctly.
*Reconcile accounts and resolve discrepancies promptly.
*Assist with credit control by monitoring overdue accounts and following up with customers.
*Prepare and distribute statements of account to customers.
*Collaborate with the finance team to support month-end and year-end closing processes.
*Provide excellent customer service to internal and external stakeholders.
*Ad hoc financial reporting and administrative tasks as required.
Requirements: *Proven experience in sales ledger or accounts receivable roles.
*Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry.
*Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
*Good organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks.
*Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
*Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
*Previous experience in a similar role is preferred.
