Finance Manager
*Hourly rate £30.00- £42.00 per hour 
*Location: Sutton
*Job Type: Office based role, temporary with a view to permanent.

Join a leading manufacturing company as a Finance Manager, where you will lead a team of three finance professionals. This role is ideal for someone with a strong background in manufacturing finance, ready to handle responsibilities including audit preparations, financial closings, and more. The successful candidate will either be formally qualified or qualified by experience, with a solid understanding of SOX and US GAAP.
Day-to-day of the role:
*Oversee and manage the finance operations within the team, including audit preparations, year-end and quarter-end financial closings.
*Prepare journals, perform account reconciliations, and manage accounts payable and payroll processes.
*Ensure compliance with all financial regulations and standards, including SOX and US GAAP.
*Handle quarterly VAT returns and monthly product costing to support strategic financial planning.
*Develop and implement efficient accounting policies and procedures to improve financial reporting and data accuracy.
*Lead, mentor, and develop a team of three finance professionals, fostering a collaborative and efficient work environment.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
*Professional qualification in finance (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) or qualified by extensive experience in a similar role within the manufacturing sector.
*Proven experience in managing finance teams and processes.
*Strong knowledge of SOX compliance and US GAAP.
*Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.
*Strong leadership skills and the ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
*Proficiency in financial software and advanced Excel skills.
