Job Description:
Annual Salary: £28,000-£30,000
Location: Ipswich Central
Job Type: Full-time
Join our client’s team as an Asset Manager, where you will work closely with third-party asset management companies and liaise with Executors and Borrower Representatives. This role is crucial in managing the sale of properties in possession and voluntary sales, as well as ensuring that Lifetime Mortgages are repaid within the contractual periods following significant life events.
Day-to-day of the role:
*Understand and manage the property sale process to minimise losses to clients.
*Clearly explain the terms and conditions of borrowers’ loans to them or their representatives.
*Keep borrower and loan information current and accurately recorded on company systems.
*Maintain professional liaisons with third parties and clients.
*Proactively and timely report issues, making necessary recommendations and expressing balanced technical opinions.
*Implement enhancements to processes and procedures.
*Provide training and guidance to other team members as necessary.
*Work with various teams within the Primary and Special Servicing functions to implement effective strategies.
*Ensure that properties in possession are marketed and sold within SLAs, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
*Respond to information requests accurately and within SLAs.
*Make accurate amendments to borrowers’ accounts in accordance with procedures and regulatory requirements.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
*Experience of financial services, property/Asset management
*Experience working to strict deadlines and targets.
*Strong time management skills with the ability to prioritise work.
*Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office packages.
*Technical and regulatory competence.
*Flexible work ethic, including good attendance history.
*Excellent telephone manner and high-quality communication skills, both written and verbal.
*Desirable: Good organisational skills, understanding of the property sale process, and knowledge of equity release loans.
