Job Description:
*Location: Ipswich
*Job Type: Full-time, Permanent
*Salary: £25,000 - £30,000 per annum
*Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30am - 5:30pm

Desirable Experience:
Background in the mortgage/lending industry. Basic understanding of buy to let mortgages and specialist finance in the UK. Familiarity with financial services regulations and loan redemption processes. Customer service experience and industry-recognized qualifications.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
Strong mathematical skills for accurate calculations. Office experience, ideally from a role involving phone based customer service Excellent verbal and written communication skills. High attention to detail and precision in recording information. Ability to work effectively within a team and manage workload proactively. Empathy and confidence in handling challenging conversations. Proficiency in Microsoft Office packages.

Role Purpose:
As a Loan coordinator, you will be integral in conducting post-completion loan servicing activities, adhering to strict service level agreements, procedures, and current legislation. Your efforts will ensure the delivery of exceptional service while promoting fair treatment and achieving the best outcomes for our customers.
Day-to-Day Responsibilities:
Clearly explain loan terms and conditions to customers. Accurately and promptly process information requests. Resolve standard loan enquiries from customers and their advisors. Maintain up-to-date and accurate customer and loan information. Manage financial transactions and communicate with customers in arrears. Oversee loans approaching expiry and coordinate appropriate follow-up actions. Assist with annual Anti Money Laundering reviews and monitor company watch notifications. Professionally liaise with clients, third parties, and other business areas. Identify and recommend process enhancements and contribute to projects.
