Description
The Junior Credit Controller will be responsible for:
*Manage and maintain client accounts
*Ensure timely debt collection and minimise financial risk.
*Prepare accurate reports on credit control activity.
*Develop and maintain relationships with clients to promote prompt payment.
*Work closely with the accounting and finance team to streamline processes.
*Adhere to all relevant financial regulations and company policies.
*Contribute to the team’s objectives and support colleagues when required
*Negotiating payment plans and setting up terms and conditions
*Other ad hoc tasks to support wider finance team
Profile
A successful Junior Credit Controller should have:
*Strong communication skills and confident telephone manner
*Excellent attention to detail
*Tenacity and resilience
*Exposure to working in a finance department, some finance administration experience would be ideal.
*Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel
*Excellent numerical and analytical skills
*The ability to work well under pressure and meet tight deadlines
