Credit Controller / Accounts Administrator
Full Time: 9am - 5pm (Office Based) - Free, onsite parking available
Salary - up to £25,000
Duties:
*Process and allocate receipts for Bacs & Cheques
*Take payments over the phone & process card payments on the PDQ machine and on the in-house system (shortly we will be switching to on-line payments)
*Reconcile unallocated cash
*Credit check new applications & requests for credit limit increases using Experian / Top Service
*Open new accounts
*Chase overdue accounts by telephone/email (Currently approximately 500-600 per month per person)
*Answer incoming calls from Branches & Customers
*Update and maintain notes on the system when a customer or branch calls
*Maintain accurate records of all chasing activity
*Ensure debts are paid in-line with the credit control collection timetable
*Monitor Credit Control mailbox
*Change addresses, telephone & and account settings when required
*Liaise with all branches/branch managers to resolve disputes
*Housekeeping manual / computer
Requirements:
*Must have experience in Credit Control or have good telephone skills to learn
*Be methodical, have good attention to detail and able to multi task
*Must have knowledge of Excel & Word
*Be able to work and support team members and use on own initiative
*Good admin skills and able to work quickly, efficiently and effectively.
