Job Title: Semi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer
Location:Newcastle
Salary: £30,000 to £35000 Per annum. Big training budget and development plans.
Shift: Monday to Friday days only.

Job Summary:
If you’re looking to break into the Engineering industry and have some experience in hands on Maintenance Roles or some Engineering qualifications with no experience this could be a great opportunity for you. They are looking for somebody they can invest in and develop to them progress into their Maintenance team as a Maintenance Engineer. Loads of support and training provided!
Key Responsibilities:
*Assist with routine maintenance and repairs of electrical and mechanical systems.
*Support the maintenance team in troubleshooting equipment issues and minimizing downtime.
*Help in the implementation of preventative maintenance schedules.
*Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and repairs.
*Work collaboratively with production teams to ensure operational efficiency.
*Adhere to health and safety regulations to maintain a safe working environment.
Qualifications:
*Basic engineering qualifications (NVQ Level 2 or equivalent).
*Some experience in a maintenance role, preferably in a manufacturing or food production environment.
*Basic understanding of electrical and mechanical systems.
*Strong problem-solving skills and a willingness to learn.
*Ability to work well in a team and communicate effectively.
*Flexibility to work Monday to Friday, days only (no nights or weekends).
