Job Description:
Your new company
You will be joining a main contractor based in Birmingham managing civil works on water schemes in the Midlands area. This organisation has a strong pipeline of work in the water sector and offers excellent opportunities for career progression and professional development. Due to continued success, they are looking to onboard a Project Manager to manage 2-3 projects, valued between £2m-£3m, simultaneously from inception through to completion. This is a permanent position which will involve a mixture of office- and site-based working (with the option for hybrid working).

Your new role
As Project Manager, you will be responsible for, but not limited to:
*Planning and managing a portfolio of projects from inception through to completion
*Conducting safety tours for all on-site works
*Holding accountability for complex internal and external stakeholder engagement and management
*Preparing and managing project management plans
*Leading on financial reporting and post-contract management
*Proposing and agreeing on contract strategy with key internal stakeholders.
What you’ll need to succeed
In order to be successful, you will have:
*Experience of delivering civil works from inception through to completion in the water (clean water or wastewater) industry
*Knowledge of CDM regulations
*Experience in procurement and post-contract management
*Sound interpersonal and communication skills
