Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
*Handle personal tax, VAT returns, tax planning, management accounts, statutory accounts preparation, and corporation tax.
*Supervise and mentor junior team members.
*Review and finalise work.
*Manage workflow and deadlines.
*Prepare financial statements and reports for clients.
*Conduct client meetings.
*Contribute to the growth and strategic direction of the practice.
*Onboard clients, including providing digital training.
Skill Requirements:
*ACA or ACCA qualified, with at least 3 years post-qualification experience (PQE) in a practice environment
*Upper second (2.1) or equivalent obtained at university level
*Excellent written and verbal communication skills
*Strong technical knowledge of direct and indirect taxes
*Proactive and enthusiastic attitude, taking initiative with projects and workflow in the office
*Excellent computer proficiency, with experience using Microsoft Office and Outlook
*Experience in using software packages such as IRIS, Sage 50, and cloud platforms
*Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines
*Experience of using accounting and tax software in practice is essential
