Job Description:
Our client, a reliable and professional global freight forwarding service provider, are looking to recruit a Sea Import Coordinator to be based at their offices in Barking, Essex.
Applications welcome from candidates with varying levels of experience from junior to senior level import operators and customs clearance operators.

*Monday - Friday working pattern, with flexible start and finish times
Main Purpose of the Role;
Reporting to the department manager, the Sea Import Co-ordinator will be responsible for handling sea import operations from start to finish.
Duties and Responsibilities of the Sea Import Co-ordinator:
*Handling sea import operations
*Arranging customer bookings
*Processing customs clearance entries
*Dealing with shipping lines
*Invoicing and cost accruals.
*Occasional involvement with road freight customs and freight operations
*Quoting for new biz and obtaining best costs for all work carried out
To Be Considered:
*Experience dealing with sea import operations and/or customs clearance
*Good customer service skills as the job will require dealing directly with customers via email and phone.
*Any previous experience with Multifreight is preferred, but not essential
