Job Description:
Are you a dynamic individual with a background in acting, seeking an opportunity to support children in a Special Educational Needs environment? Whether you’re looking for full-time or part-time work, if you have experience with various SEND needs such as ASC, SEMH, PMLD, and more, we want to hear from you!
We are currently seeking a creative individual to join our school community, providing support to children with SEND needs. Previous experience is not necessary for this role! As an actor/actress, you bring a wealth of transferable skills to the table, including proficiency in role-playing. Your primary responsibilities will involve assisting with day-to-day classroom activities, reinforcing targets, offering supervision and support as needed, and maintaining consistent routines for the children. A calm and positive demeanor is essential, as is a proactive approach to building relationships with the children.
While experience working with children is preferred, it is not essential for this role.
A creative and positive mindset is a must.
Working hours are from 8:30 am to 3:45 pm.
Immediate start available.
Compensation: Up to £525 per week, paid weekly.
