I am currently recruiting for an enthusiastic Learning Support Assistant for a long-term vacancy starting in November 2024 at a fantastic Special Needs School based in Berkshire!
This school has a robust teaching staff and support team, with a range of expertise within SEN education. The school support pupils with a wide range of needs such as, SEMH, ASC, MLD/SLD and Complex Needs. You must be able to have a flexible approach with regards to your support style, and have an outgoing nature in order to build rapport with the pupils. Due to the nature of the students, a patient, caring and compassionate approach is needed.
* Job Title: SEND Learning Support Assistant
* Location: Berkshire
* Start Date: November 2024 (ASAP)
Your Role:
* Assisting in the delivery of effective teaching on a one to one basis or in small groups.
* Working with other support staff to engage pupils in sensory work.
* Preparing classroom resources.
* Providing feedback to teaches and parents.
* You will be assisting pupils with Autism, Severe Learning Difficulties and other Learning Difficulties.
