Our client, a 5-star hotel near Bracknell is looking to recruit a Sous Chef to join their team.

Overview:
*Assist the Head Chef run the kitchen enabling the team to achieve the highest levels of standards and service
*Train and develop the team
*Preparing food to the highest quality to ensure guest expectations
*Achieve the highest levels of food quality, standards and service at all times
Sous Chef Requirements:
*HACCP & Cleanliness: Follow safety standards and maintain a clean kitchen.
*Leadership: Motivate and coordinate the team, acting as deputy when needed.
*Quality & Cost Control: Ensure food quality, manage costs, and monitor stock.
*Team Development: Train team members and support their growth.
*Flexibility & Collaboration: Adjust to business needs, support front-of-house, and attend meetings.
*Compliance: Follow all health, safety, and legal regulations.
Qualifications & experience:
*Experience: Similar role in high-standard environments (e.g., AA Rosette, Michelin), menu development, and cost control.
*Qualifications: Relevant certifications (City & Guilds, NVQ Level 2/3).
*Skills: Strong IT and COSHH knowledge, leadership, communication, and team training.
*Traits: Team player, flexible, personable, and well-presented.
