Plumber
£23 - £25 PAYE
Greenwich, London
Contract
We are currently on the lookout to join a Plumber in our team in Greenwich.
The Role:
*Carry out all aspects of plumbing work, including installation, repairs, and maintenance of plumbing systems in residential properties.
*Diagnose and fix leaks, blockages, and other plumbing issues.
*Install and repair water heaters, radiators, and heating systems.
*Maintain drainage systems, bathrooms, kitchens, and any other areas requiring plumbing work.
*Conduct regular inspections and preventative maintenance to ensure systems are compliant with regulations.
*Communicate with tenants to schedule work and provide updates on repairs.
*Maintain accurate records of work carried out and materials used.
*Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations at all times.
*Participate in the on-call rota for emergency plumbing services.
The Candidate:
*Relevant plumbing qualifications (NVQ Level 2/3 in Plumbing or equivalent).
*Gas Safe certification (preferred but not essential).
*Proven experience in a similar role, ideally in social housing or domestic properties.
*Strong knowledge of building regulations and safety standards.
*Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and meet deadlines.
*Excellent communication and customer service skills.
*Full UK driving licence (essential).
